Jerez - Not only Valentino Rossi and Ducati who expressed his satisfaction over the results of initial tests GP12. Nicky Hayden also claimed satisfied with the performance of the Ducati flagship candidate.
"Everything went well and we had no problems whatsoever. The bike is very comfortable ride, and I got a lot of pleasure while riding it," Hayden said, as quoted by Autosport.
Hayden admitted was disappointed because the weather at the Jerez circuit was not friendly when I do the test. However, late morning, the weather improved and he could test the GP12 smoothly.
"When I wake up in the morning, the sky is completely gray and the track is very wet. I am a bit disappointed," said U.S. rider this.
"I do not think we can do something because it did not make sense to throw one-day test in conditions like this," he added.
"The situation continues to get better and better. And after lunch, I can go down to the track. I can not wait to drive it, but it was worth the wait."
"It is an honor to participate in the first test GP12 because this will not happen too often where you can drive a motorcycle on the track for the first time. This is a special feeling," he said.
