Vettel: Victory in Two Racing Means Nothing yet
Jakarta - Sebastian Vettel look perfect in two series of the early races this season. However Red Bull driver said that the two victories that he achieved not mean anything.
Vettel started the 2011 season with a perfect result the first place finish at the Australian GP. The defending champions continued his slick record by winning the top podium in the second series in Malaysia.
"What's really promising is that we have exceptional reliability, the issue where we had a little trouble last season," said Vettel told the official F1 website.
Red Bull racer is now leads the standings with 50 points. Vettel held superior points far enough away from his opponent. But the German driver said that the perfect result in the two races still do not mean anything.
"I am delighted with the results I achieved so far, but this is just two races. So the thoughts about the world title, it is very premature. It is certainly important for anyone to gain points at every opportunity - I've learned from last season when once a fourth place finish could bring a difference - but I do not think more than that. "
"Winning two out of a total of 19 races do not determine anything about the final outcome of the struggle for the title. There are still 17 races longer than the two that already happened. I am not a genius in math, but I can apply it to count myself."
This weekend Vettel along with other contestants must re-compete in the GP of China. What preparations are underway by the youngest world champion?
"Yes, maybe it sounds a bit unpleasant, but I have to sleep immediately after the race in Malaysia. Then one day a holiday, and then went to Shanghai to start training again on Tuesday and Wednesday, before we were present at the circuit on Thursday. So it is not enough time to breathe. "
